POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii—U.S. Army Garrison Pōhakuloa will participate in this year’s Hilo Veterans Day parade on Nov. 10 and would like to honor Big Island Veterans by inviting them to ride on the Pōhakuloa float.

“We’d like to invite Veterans from all services to ride the float but in particular we’re looking for Veterans who trained at Pōhakuloa before they deployed to combat,” said Bob McElroy, PTA public affairs officer. “We’re looking for eight Veterans, perhaps a few more if the interest is there.”
