Ironman: ‘Alii Drive’ debuts on YouTube

The new series will air twice weekly on Ironman’s official YouTube channel with a total of 10 episodes.

Move over Downton Abbey. This week, Alii Drive premiers on YouTube— Ironman’s first ever original series.

Some highlights from the season opener, “Pressure,” include Chris McCormack, Craig Alexander, and Andy Potts talking about the unique pressures of parenthood, and Rachel Joyce and Meredith Kessler discussing the risks of putting a career aside to pursue sport.

These much-anticipated webisodes will go beyond the usual media interviews and standard athletes bios, telling the stories of the top pros in a way that can only be revealed from within.

Alii Drive is about letting the public in on what makes some of the world’s best endurance athletes tick. It will explore into how these athletes prepare mentally and physically while striving for a shot at winning the coveted Ironman World Championship.

The series will air twice weekly on Ironman’s official YouTube channel with a total of 10 episodes. Each episode will focus on a central theme that will t to be a catalyst for deeper insight into the personality of each athlete.

Some of the pros that will be featured include: Craig Alexander, Mirinda Carfrae, Leanda Cave, Linsey Corbin, Julie Dibens, Rachel Joyce, Meredith Kessler, Chris McCormack, Tim O’Donnell, and Andy Potts.
