Kona Aerials star at state gymnastics meet

Hawaii State Gymnastics Championship were held on March 31-April 1 at Aiea District Park in Honolulu.

All of the Kona Aerials Gymnasts qualified for state meet, which had seven clubs from around the islands competing. Optional Levels of 7-10 competed on vault, bars, beam and floor.

Hadley Beach competed in Level 7 obtaining a 9.0 on both Vault & Floor and came home with a 4th place all around finish.

Tianna Morimoto competed in Level 8 and captured a 6th place all-around trophy.

Kaili Yuen and Nicole Cristobal are both Level 9’s. Yuen received an 8.975 on floor and captured a 5th place all-around title. Cristobal had 9.35 on vault, 9.0 on bars, 8.85 on beam, 9.25 on floor winning the first place all around trophy.

Cristobal also qualified for the regional competition April 14 in Beaverton, Ore., where she will compete against girls from Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
