Wrestling: Two state champs for the Big Isle

The Big Island has two new state wrestling champions and one runner-up.

The wrestling tournament wrapped up Saturday on Oahu, and Akoakoa Paleka-Kennedy, of Kamehameha Schools – Hawaii and Sage Aoki, of Konawaena, will be coming home with state crowns.

It was the second straight title for Paleka-Kennedy.

Also, Cheyden Quiocho, of Keaau, is the state runner up.
