Work on pedestrian path in Holualoa (Oct. 25-26)

MEDIA RELEASE

The County of Hawaii will extend the mauka lane along Mamalahoa Highway five-feet for a pedestrian path in Holualoa town.

The pedestrian path will begin at Hōlualoa Elementary School, for one-quarter of a mile ending at Imin Center.

Road construction is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Oct. 25 and Wednesday, Oct. 26, and may continue through Thursday.

One lane will remain closed from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Drivers are urged to plan for delays.
