HSPLS says fundraiser Saturday was not for Pahoa’s public library

MEDIA RELEASE

The public is advised that the Pahoa Public & School Library, a branch of the Hawaii State Public Library System, is not affiliated with the Pahoa Arts & Library Association. The Pahoa Public & School Library and the Pahoa Arts & Library Association are two separate entities with different missions.

The Pahoa Arts & Library Association conducted a fundraiser on Saturday, August 13, 2011 and the money collected does not benefit the Pahoa Public and School Library.

Donors who wish to support the Pahoa Public & School Library should contact the Friends of Pahoa Library.
