High surf advisory for North, South and East shores of the Big Island

A high surf advisory is in effect for North, South and East shores of the Big Island until 6 p.m. Saturday (May 7). Surf six to eight feet is forecast through Saturday afternoon.

Rough and chopper surf conditions are expected and a small craft advisory is in effect for all Hawaiian waters until 6 p.m. Saturday (May 7).
