Cameron signing 2011 Merrie Monarch posters (April 26)

Artist Rod Cameron will be signing 2011 Merrie Monarch posters as Volcano Art Center (VAC) Gallery in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park celebrates Merrie Monarch Festival week with special events to celebrate the art and traditions of hula.

VAC features artists, authors and cultural practitioners to share their manao with visitors and kamaaina alike. The public is invited to free activities ranging from hula and ukulele lessons to print and book signing by authors and illustrators.

All events take place at Volcano Art Center Gallery in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Volcano Art Center promotes, develops, and perpetuates Hawaii’s artistic, cultural and environmental heritage through the arts and education.

These events are free although park entrance fees apply.
