Hawaii First Community Resource Expo (Jan. 28)

MEDIA RELEASE

Hawaii First Community Resource Center understands how difficult it is to thrive in such tough economic times. Although there are many different available resources out there, many find the distance and process of obtaining these resources is sometimes all to overwhelming and defeating.

With a driving distance for some of more than 100 miles to obtain resources, Hawaii First is providing a collaborative approach to bringing these vital services directly to the community at one common location, with one common time and one common purpose, all of us coming together to improve the lives of those around us who need it most.

With the support of OHA and various Hawaii organizations and agencies, Hawaii First FCU will host the first-ever Hawaii First Community Resource Expo at 3-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at the Waimea Shopping Center (KTA).

Congresswoman Mazie Hirono is expected to be in attendance beginning at 3 p.m.
