Hawaii Prep, Konawaena and Honokaa drop their second games in state tourney

Three of the Big Island’s Division II baseball teams lost their quest for the state crown today.

Hawaii Prep lost to Molokai 11-5, Konawaena lost their quarterfinal game against St. Anthony 6-0 and Honokaa was blanked by top seed Kauai 11-0. All games were played at Hans L’Orange Field on Oahu.

Makua Lani plays Kahuku in a consolation game at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Honokaa and Hawaii Prep face each other in a 5th place semifinal game at 11:30 a.m. Konawaena plays in the other 5th place semifinal game at 2 p.m.
